Charity IT Leaders Annual Conference – It’s Back!
Our first physical event since March 2020 will be held at The Oxford Belfry on 6-8 October 2021. Our theme is ‘Back to the Future’ and we’ll be hosting the main IT Leaders stream on 7-8 October, with a side-stream on digital transformation on 7 October and a BA stream on 8 October.
So what can you expect?
IT Leaders Stream
We have an exciting and inspiring programme in place, including a keynote from Richard Mullender, who uses his experiences as a hostage negotiator to teach the business world to listen like hostage negotiators so they can strike better deals. Dr Aarti Anhal will be showing us how to put IT at the heart of an organisation and put people at the heart of IT and will deliver a masterclass in how to achieve this. We’ll also hear from, among others, Liz O’Neill, Michala Liavaag and Steve Shutts.
Digital Transformation stream
Digital transformation has been on everyone’s lips for a long time, but post pandemic, it may mean something very different. This work stream will focus on case studies and capability to help key staff and leaders get a sense of how the ‘dial has shifted’ as a result of the last 18 months of enforced remote delivering and remote working.
Business Analyst (BA) stream
Business Analysts need not to just focus on the technical aspects of their jobs but benefit greatly from strengthening their soft skills and business acumen skills. This work stream will be in a workshop format focusing on those soft skills e.g. negotiating and influencing.
The full agenda can be found here.
Not only will this be an opportunity to hear inspirational and exciting speakers, more importantly, it will be a chance to network with your community and come together in a physical space after the challenges of lockdown.
We hope you are as excited as us and keen to network and connect in person again but please do what is right for you. We will be limiting numbers per stream and adhering to social distancing and government guidance at all times to ensure a safe and secure place for all who attend (please see our safety measures below)
If you do feel ready to physically connect again then please book your place now before 17th September 2021 to make sure you don’t miss out!
