Join our online communities for networking, problem-solving and collaboration

The biggest reason to join CITL is our incredible community. We have members from a diverse range of charities and non-profits, and a network encompasing CIOs, IT Directors, technical leads, data specialists, and pretty much any other technology-related role you can think of.

You can engage with this amazing network via Teams and WhatsApp. Just email us your contact details, and we'll add you to the groups. These members-only communities are closed to suppliers and are hubs of knowledge, expertise, tips, and support.

When a platform or service goes down and your CEO and Trustees are demanding answers, our network will be sharing information, fixes, and solutions to help you resolve the issue, support your team, and provide timely updates.

Need a supplier recommendation for a business-critical product or service? Our network can offer firsthand information about suppliers and partners, along with real examples of successful engagements, helping you minimize risk in a new relationship.

Looking for a new solution, platform, product, or service that your organization depends on? Our network can suggest and recommend options, cutting through the hype and helping you make informed decisions based on real outcomes from people in the same sector.

Whatever you need—whether you're dealing with a crisis, seeking inspiration, or just need support from people who get it—the CITL community is here for you.

Join CITL’s Mentoring Programme

Whether you join as a mentor, mentee, or both, being part of our mentoring programme, and benefiting from the shared knowledge and experience of our fantastic community, will help you build your professional skills and boost your career development.

Mentoring is like having a friendly guide who helps you navigate your career or personal growth journey. For mentees, it's a fantastic opportunity to gain insights and advice from someone who's been there, done that. You learn from their experiences, avoid common pitfalls, and develop skills that might take years to figure out on your own. Plus, having a mentor can boost your confidence and open doors to new opportunities. It's like having a cheerleader who genuinely wants to see you succeed.

On the flip side, mentors also reap significant benefits. Sharing knowledge and experiences can be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. It allows mentors to reflect on their own journey and often leads to personal growth. Mentoring can also enhance leadership and communication skills, as guiding someone requires patience and clarity.

Additionally, mentors often find themselves inspired by their mentees' enthusiasm and fresh perspectives, which can reignite their own passion for their field. It's a win-win situation where both parties grow and learn together.

Tea & Tech Talk - Socials and Deep Dives

Join us for our monthly, members-only, Tea & Tech Talk Socials and Deep Dives to connect with our amazing network, collaborate to solve mutual challenges and get a little bit of group therapy with people who just get it.

The Social is a half hour, informal catch-up on Teams, and the topics raised form the agenda for our hour-long Deep Dive meetings, when we explore these topics in a little more detail, and consider solutions and work-arounds. We also offer friendly reassurance and the comfort of knowing you aren't on your own.

Bring your team, bring a cuppa or a coffee and join the conversation.

Find a supplier you can trust, with a pedigree of service delivery in the charity sector

If you're on the lookout for a supplier, start by browsing our Trusted Supplier Directory. It's a curated list of experts with extensive experience working with charities and non-profits.

Every supplier in our directory has a proven track record of delivering high-quality services within our sector. They've been endorsed by at least two charity referees, and many have been CITL partners and sponsors for years. While suppliers pay an annual fee to be listed, not all applications make the cut. So, if you see an organization on our list, you can trust that:

  • They've been endorsed by at least two charities or non-profits.

  • Their brand and values align with ours.

  • They have demonstrable success in working with charities and non-profits.

If you're from a charity or not-for-profit and want to recommend a supplier, just email us with the details, and we'll get in touch with them.
